Windmill Solutions is a one-man enterprise run by André Velthoen. I immigrated from the Netherlands to San Antonio, Texas in 2006 and have since then been trying to make my computer and language knowledge into something that keeps me busy during the hours I'm not working in my fulltime job as a QA-Analyst.

Webpage design and translating have my main focus and are briefly discussed below. Computer maintenance is something I have been doing in the past for friends and family. There is definitely a need for an affordable person like me that can give you advice on upgrading, help you out in case of problems or can speed up your PC by researching your installed software and replacing memory-hogging 'security-software' that came installed when you bought your PC with free alternatives that in most cases work just as good and most of the times even better.
Throughout the years I have designed a fair amount of websites, most of which are still running. I have done a few based on different Content Management Systems, but my best projects are the websites consisting of only XHTML and CSS. I specialize in low-cost solutions for local organizations or individuals that often don't have thousands of dollars to spend on a website. My approach is a personal one, with 'satisfaction guaranteed' as the ultimate goal.

Having lived in Europe most of my life, I've been exposed to a lot of different languages and have always been interested in mastering them. My knowledge of English is excellent and German is good and of course Dutch is my native language. Reason enough for me to offer my services as a translator. My resume, accessible through the top-menu, has all the details about prior assignments, language-pairs I can handle, etc...
